Hey HS! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while, but not to fret, I'm back and I passed all my midterms, WOHOO! Hopefully everyone else is out of midterm season, and had a memorable Halloween.
I’d just like to welcome everyone to November, my favourite season of all times. Why you might ask?
1. Caramel Brule Late is back at Sbucks, huge, HUGE win.
2. Temporary academic relief between middys and finals
3. Fall is the perfect season for every item in your wardrobe
4. Pumpkin flavored everything
5. Last but not least who doesn’t love stepping on every single crunchy leaf on the ground?
Along with these 5 wonderful things, there is one signature and most praised accessories. Start to nice something furry (and usually patchy) on all the boys upper lips? MOVEMBER has arrived! It’s a campaign to raise awareness for cancer by growing the dustiest moustache you can. Along with Movember, select gentlemen will also choose to participate in Flovember, not a campaign for cancer, but an enhancer of the stache. Plus who needs a hat when you have your hair to keep your head warm. Health Science will be following some lucky gents to find out how their staches are doing, you can check it out on the FHS facebook page!
More interesting things in November:
FHS games! One of the biggest events HS holds, this year there are enough spots for 12 teams, so get some friends together and sign up! (sign up date TBA) You compete against other teams in sports, academic and totally random challenges. Like I said before; if you want to call yourself the best, you have to prove it. Plus this year there's a banquet at the wave! WOOPIE, one less dinner you have to cook!
Spoke is having limited time chocolate chip bagels. Way too good to be true. If you haven’t had one yet, I don’t even know what to say... just go get yourself one.
Drake released his new album, Take Care. Check it out HS, it’s really, really good.
That’s it! So step on some leaves get yourself and Caramel Brule late (skim milk only ofc, they don’t have sugar free syrup for that flavour, huge disappointment) and bake something pumpkin while religiously listening to Take Care.
Happy November:)
