Please, PLEASE let me pass this middy.

I hate midterms. Stress and marks less than 95 aren't going to impress any grad schools or help my hair look any better. The only clubs I'll be hitting up are club Weldon and Taylor, taking shots of sugar free vanilla in my venti latte. Realistically, Taylor is the only library I can get anything done in. Weldon is notorious for taking up hours of your precious time and giving you only minutes of actual study time. Why? You run into someone you know and have a 20 minute conversation every well, 20 minutes. Putting away your phone and logging off of facebook is definitely essential. A new status or creeping someone’s wall isn’t going to get you in grad school, it’s going to get you a big fat F.

If I had one wish right now it would be to ace all my courses and then win the lottery. Hopefully Dream Teams 99 Blue Balloon event will help me achieve that with no effort or actual work this Thursday. For those of you who don't know what Dream Team is, shame on you. For those of you who do, kudos. They're HS's charity that supports Make a Wish Foundation :) For just 2 dollars all your hopes and dreams can come true! Aka supporting them by buying a blue balloon and writing your wish on it. If you have a completely selfish or ridiculous wish don't worry, nobody can judge you because you just donated to charity, selfish karma rights. Or you can tell everyone you wished for world peace, but secretly wrote down a Celine bag and a rich husband. The release is at 1pm, don't be late. And for all you turtle lovers, the balloons are environmentally friendly, woohoooo!
More great ways to spend your money, KIN clothing and volleyball tourney! Volley ball sign ups and Kin swagga will be sold Weds and Thurs in front of Lucy's... I think. The tourney is this Saturday so forget your midterms for one day and let out your anger in a safe and legal way! Nothing says I'm better than you then actually proving it.

Another cheery thought to get you through your middys... HALLOWEN! Every girls fav excuse to look “great”.  I’m going as a medical practioner, yay! More to come on this topic when midterms are over.

Not only do we live the dream, we make them come true.
WE LOVE MAKING DREAMS! Remember that on Thursday, because one wish per person is for people who expect less than amazing.

Happy studying xo

I'll have the turkeyitis please!

Hopefully all of you got the chance to refill your bank accounts, stuff your face and party with all your long lost besties aka go home for the possibly the best holiday ever, THANKSGIVING! It's one of those holidays that helps you get away from boring classes and walking around campus soaking wet because you're trying to save money not buying an umbrella to go out that night. You get to enjoy one last weekend of loafting around while your parents make you all your meals and praise you for "working so hard at school" until Christmas. Its a weekend to give thanks and appreciate what we all take for granted, but more importantly to eat everything and anything you can get your hands on that your too lazy to make yourself at school. I'm talking turkeyitis ladies and gents. I'm pretty sure I ate my body weight in turkey, ham, stuffing, roasted veggies and dessert. You can't be ungrateful and stick to your 6-pack diet during thanksgiving. "Sorry no pumpkin pie, berry cobbler, ice cream or apple pie for me, I'm on a diet", yeah right more like "I'll have a generous helping of four, please".  You can run for 2 days straight to burn it all off when you get back to reality. So here's comes the totally cliche and obvious "What are you thankful for?"
Well my friends, I'm thankful for UWO and the best university experience, losing the freshman 15 and friends who drink like fish and don't judge me for things I wouldn't do sober. Hopefully everyone called they're parents and thanked them for making them so darn good looking and paying their tuition! If not, they still let you go to UWO so don't be ungrateful. One more thing I'm thankful for, the weather (weekend only, not rainy sad school days)! This weekend was freakishly hot (no complaints). If any of you were fortunate to have a bestie with a pool still open, you lucked out. I made the switch from classic UWO knee high boots and leather jacket to a bathing suit and some short shorts for some quality tanning time.Obviously with way too many people to catch up on and food to eat absolutely no studying got done. Bad news bears. Unfortunately with thanksgiving also comes the start of midterms with a side of a significant decrease in your attitude, fun level and for some, appearance. Study hard and hit the gym.

Stay classy HS
